Cast iron steel gate usually consists of three parts: movable part (also called door leaf), buried part and opening and closing machinery. 1. According to the working nature of steel gate, it can be divided into working steel gate, maintenance steel gate and accident steel gate. The working steel gate is also called the main steel gate, which can be opened and closed in moving water. The overhaul steel gate is located in front of the working steel gate. It is used for short-term water retention during maintenance of buildings or working steel gates, etc., generally opened and closed in still water. Accident steel gates are mostly installed in front of deep-hole working steel gates. They can be closed in moving water and opened in static water when a building or equipment has an accident; when it is also used as an overhaul steel gate, it is also called an accident overhaul steel gate; Accident steel gates that are closed in an emergency within time are called fast steel gates.

2. According to the relative position between the top of the gate and the water surface when the steel gate is closed, it can be divided into open-top steel gate and down-the-hole steel gate.

3. According to the appearance and shape of the steel gate leaf, it is divided into flat steel gates, curved steel gates, herringbone steel gates, arched steel gates, spherical steel gates and cylindrical steel gates.

4. According to the materials used to manufacture the steel gate leaf, it is divided into steel gate, cast steel gate, wood steel gate, reinforced concrete steel gate and composite material steel gate. The flap steel gate can be automatically opened and closed with the help of hydraulic power, which is called hydraulic automatic steel gate. When choosing the form of steel gates, we need to consider factors such as its location, size, design head, operating conditions, manufacturing capabilities, and installation technical level in the hydraulic structure. It is required to achieve good water flow conditions, tight water stop, and The opening and closing force is small, the operation is simple and flexible, and the maintenance is convenient.
